Cape Cod is now officially one of the best places to go for 4th of July fireworks displays, according to Travel and Leisure.
This little Cape Cod village not only puts on a great fireworks show overlooking Nantucket Sound, it does so solely on business and individual donations, unlike most of the heavy hitting competition it faced in earning a top ten ranking.

Timing and choreographing the fireworks to the music were considered crucial to making the top ten 4th of July list. Travel and Leisure also took into account historical significance, physical location and the actual display itself.

Seeing the Falmouth fireworks display
In 2009, the fireworks display will be dedicated to the 150 th anniversary of the birth of hometown girl, Katherine Lee Bates, who wrote America the Beautiful. The fireworks, which take place just off of Falmouth Heights Beach, can be viewed from any of Falmouth’s beaches.
