Country newcomer Jeremy Crady, as part of his official launch as a recording artist, is offering his new single to fans for free via the Internet.
A native of the Dallas, Texas, area, Crady recently embarked on an extensive radio tour in honor of "The Toughest Ride," his freshman single that shares the tale of a rodeo cowboy who's down on his luck.
According to Crady's camp, the track has quickly garnered radio airplay at some 120 stations nationwide thus far, and to help celebrate, the curly-tressed singer--through the close of September--is offering the tune to country fans free of charge via an mp3 download form on his Web site,
The song is contained on Crady's new CD release, the 13-song Smoke House Serenade, which was produced by Garth Brooks' drummer, Milton Sledge, and features several additional members of Garth's touring band.
"The first day in the studio I'm trying to be cool, but I'd been listening to those guys since I was a kid," Crady recalled, referring to the time he spent working with Sledge and company. "The triumph was the second day, because they all showed up with a little bit more pep in their step. They were excited to show back up. And to me, whatever else happens, that means everything."
