After a tumoultous on again off again flritation between the Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars free agent offensive tackle Khalif Barnes, they have reached agreement one year deal.
The Oakland Raiders have a glaring need at the offensive tackle position, and Barnes was the best on the market. It is uncertain whether he will take over the left side from Mario Henderson who took over late last season for Kwame Harris or whether he will take over the right side for Cornell Green. Either way, Barnes is a much needed addition to the Raider roster.
This continues the Raiders pattern of playing it smart this offseason.
