They're the dream machines, the power of America in flight. Tonight, the National Geographic Channel gives you a first-class ticket to both Air Force One and Marine One, both of which are normally restricted territory.
The double-header begins at 8 p.m. EST, with a stunning inside look at both Air Force One and President Barack Obama's first official flight aboard. A mobile command center, meeting room, and living quarters, the world's most famous plane is truly a White House in the sky.
You'll also get to meet Col. Mark Tillman, the pilot who secretly flew President George Bush into Baghdad for Thanksgiving in 2003. The team that ferries the president and maintains both Air Force One and Air Force Two must be prepared to put the president and his passengers into the air at a moment's notice, and, if necessary, serve as a flying command center in time of war or disaster.
Next up at 9 p.m.: a look inside Marine One, the official presidential helicopter. NatGeo also had permission to film inside the secured area at Quantico where Marine One and its support fleet are housed.
