As you might imagine, there are many singers, songwriters, and bands that hope to take their music to the soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Bouting with heavy-hitters (like Coldplay, perhaps), many of these artists are young, up-and-coming, and completely inspired by the words and story of the Twilight series and New Moon.
You also know that the soundtrack will not be large enough to accomodate absolutely every artist.
That said, here are a few of the artists who've come across my desk.
Betti Gefecht is a pretty well known Twilight fan. She has a fairly popular Twilight site and has a lot of friends on MySpace and otherwise who would like to see her on the New Moon soundtrack. Gefecht penned "Jacob's Song," with the accompanying video below.
Vaughan Adams is an acoustic rock singer from Australia, who penned "The Heart of a Vampire" as inspired by the Twilight series, particularly New Moon. Many favor Vaughan, and after his music was released, on YouTuber decided to make this video featurette of his music with scenes from Twilight. You can support him by MySpace here.
Phoebe Sharp is a singer/song-writer from Colorado, who has written two songs for the New Moon soundtrack entitled "Poison Love" and Her songs can be viewed on her MySpace page, and here is a sample of her music by video.
What do you think guys? Are these artists you can see being in the soundtrack, or is there another sound you think would work? Comment below and let us know!
