Summit Entertainment has just released some very important information about its up-coming panels for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Sorority Row, and Astro Boy.

Firstly, it is true that exclusive footage from all three films will be shown at the Comic-Con event at the San Diego Convention Center.

Here are the times for the footage showings (on July 23rd):

  • 10:45-11:15 a.m. (Room 6BCF) - Astro Boy
  • 1:45-2:45 p.m. (Hall H) - The Twilight Saga: New Moon
  • 1:45-2:45 p.m. (Hall H) - Sorority Row

Astro Boy stars Kristen Bell and Freddie Highmore will be introducing the premiere of the final pre-release trailer for Astro Boy at the same time that the exclusive footage is shown (above).

Details of the panels are as follows:

10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., Room 6BCF:

ASTRO BOY – Stars Freddie Highmore (Astro Boy) and Kristen Bell (Cora) join director David Bowers and producer Maryann Garger as they debut footage exclusive to Comic-Con 2009 and answer questions about bringing this beloved superhero to the big screen. Based on the classic Manga series, the all-new CG-animated feature film chronicles the futuristic adventures of a young robot with incredible powers and his exciting journey in search of his identity and his destiny.

1:45p.m. to 2:45 p.m. in Hall H:

SORORITY ROW – In a Comic-Con exclusive, members of the cast will debut footage from this searing chiller. When five sorority girls inadvertently cause the death of one of their sisters in a prank gone wrong, they make a pact to keep the incident to themselves and never speak of it again. But upon their graduation, a mysterious killer stalks the guilty parties—and anyone who knows their dark secret.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON – The highly anticipated sequel to last year’s box-office smash TWILIGHT is the subject of a question-and-answer session featuring surprise members of the cast. In anticipation of being one of the convention’s most talked-about events, the panel will also thrill the crowd with a first look at never-before-seen footage from the film. With THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) and Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) return in a captivating new chapter of the action epic that has enthralled audiences around the world.

Also, Summit Entertainment will be presenting "The Twilight Experience," a one-time theatrical re-release of 2008's Twilight, which will be a treat for Twilight fans as the event will include an introduction by the present cast members. The screening tickets are $10.00, and are available for purchase through Fandango only (with pick up at the theater prior to the event). The screening event will take place at the Pacific Gaslamp, 701 5th Avenue (a few blocks from the convention center), with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. (Note: only two tickets are allowed per person).

Other special events taking place at Comic-Con through Summit Entertainment (their booth being in the Grand Hall) are an opportunity to have a photo taken in an exclusive The Twilight Saga: New Moon photo booth, the chance to collect special edition trading cards for the film, and the opportunity to meet the CG-enhanced animated versions of classic characters brought to life in Astro Boy. There will also be a spin-wheel where fans can win promotional give-aways and exclusive prizes.
