At last year's Comic-Con event, Twilight was featured in the Summit Entertainment panel (which included Stephenie Meyer, director Catherine Hardwicke, and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Edi Gathegi, Cam Gigandet, and Rachelle Lefevre).
At the event, a special feature included a preview scene from the film (seen below), which turned out to be the ballet studio scene.
The ballet studio scene was one of the final sequences in Twilight - and it was one of the most fearsome of the book Twilight. Having teased toward that scene in the prologue, in many ways, the book was building up to that scene for a lot of its volume.
However, the scene was one of the first shot in filming Twilight as well. Catherine Hardwicke took to bringing this scene to life first and foremost, despite its innate difficulty.
That said, which scene will be shown at this year's Comic-Con event?
Some of the first scenes done on The Twilight Saga: New Moon were shown in the first trailer (i.e., the "kiss me" scene). Also, some of the Cullen family scenes (i.e., the "birthday" scene) were done early on in the production process. Seemingly filming in rather chronological progression, the filming process seemed very different under the lens of Chris Weitz, and the Volturi and Italian sequences (which were filmed in Montepulciano, Italy) were some of the last to be made and were, for obvious reasons, not included in the first trailer.
So, what do you think? Will they give us something new like a Volturi sequence or the infamous chase scene between Alice and Bella and the clock to follow suit on the anticipatory nature of the prior showing? Or will they show us another Cullen scene from the beginning of the film since they were filmed first? Or, will they come out of left field and show us some werewolves and Jacob Black? Comment below and let us know what you think (or what you hope for)!
