The Quileute Days event, which features Twilight actor Solomon Trimble as its guest star, is taking place next weekend, and the schedule of events for the weekend has just been announced.

Friday (July 17th) will involve a kick-off event from 6-8 p.m. with a Royalty Pageant at the Akalat Center. At 6:00 p.m. there will also be a youth and softball tourment, and at 8:00 p.m. there will be stick games at the community center. A dance will follow at Main Street.

On Saturday (July 18th), another youth and adult softball tournament game will take place at 8:00 a.m., followed at 10:30 with a parade line up. Canoe races, salmon bakes, and Texas Hold 'em Poker tournaments will also take place and a Quileute Cultural Arts Performance featuring the Wolf Dancers and Trimble will take place from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

More events will also commence on Sunday.
