'Twilight' Series conventions everywhere, with guest appearances from Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz

Twilight Series conventions from sea to shining sea will welcome thousands of Twilight fans this year and next.

My friends over at Pillow Biters, one of my favorite Twilight blogs, have put together a comprehensive list of all of the many "Salute to Twilight" conventions that will be going on this year.

Included in the list are meetings in Los Angeles this May, New Jersey, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Seattle and San Francisco (for more information, see here), with guest appearances from such Twilight stars as Ashley Greene, Michael Welch, and Kellan Lutz expected.

In addition, the TwiCon 2009 festival will be taking place in Dallas, Texas from July 30th to August 2nd, with guest appearances (tentatively confirmed) by Christian Serratos, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Michael Welch, musicians Bobby Long & Marcus Foster, and many, many others.

There is also program in Forks, Washington (the non-fictional setting for the books and film), from June 25th to June 28th, called Summer School in Forks, a literary symposium dedicated to Stephenie Meyer's best-selling series.

Next summer, Twilight-ers will cruise away to Alaska with Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene on the Twilight Fan Cruise from August 8-15, 2010.
