How To Be is taking the country by storm with its superstar lead Robert Pattinson, who, according to my friends over at Twilight Sisterhood, "is a beautiful mess and ... did a great job breathing life - or the lack of - into his character."
So much so, in fact, that the Nashville Film Festival, which originally only had one screening set for today (April 19th), has sold out of tickets and had to add another show (tickets still available here) on the 21st at 3:30 in the Green Hills Cinema.
How To Be, in which Rob plays "a frustrated musician, undergoing what he sees as a quarter life crisis," has been wildly successful even in the early stages because it is said to be one of Rob's most honest performances to-date. All of this comes on the heels of the announcement that the How To Be soundtrack would be available for pre-order (upon which Rob will have 3 featured performances) with a chance for 250 pre-ordering customers to win a Rob-autographed copy of the album (see here for details) and the fact that it will also be available on IFC on demand on April 29th.
Just weeks away from the release of another of Rob's much-anticipated performances in Little Ashes (May 8), some fans say they're completely unsurprised at the early success of How To Be, and that they expect that anything Rob chooses to do (includingrelease of an Indie album and the potential release of a collaborative song he and Sam Bradley have been working on while filming The Twilight Saga: New Moon in Vancouver). Meanwhile, rumor has it that Rob is taking a break while his part in The Twilight Saga: New Moon cedes to actress Kristen Stewart and actor Taylor Lautner for the next few days, until he jet-sets to Italy to pick back up filming.
Below is a new video from IFC, showing another tid-bit of Rob's performance in How To Be for your viewing pleasure. In addition, a new trailer for Little Ashes is posted as well!
