Both the Honda Civic EG6 and Mazda RX-8 have a savory heritage of street racing through the mountain roads of Japan. These JDM vehicles were designed to traverse mountain roads and the engineering for this intent can be seen though out both designs. Both vehicles used in the following video feature high RPM engines that are tuned and modified for street racing. These types of engines are ideal for turbo application due to the long power curve and ability to build boost. Honda Civic EG6 and the Mazda RX-8 are both JDM icons, let's check out their stock specifications.
