Griffin O'Neal makes shocking statement at Farrah Fawcett funeral

The funeral for actress Farrah Fawcett was held on June 30 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles. Longtime love Ryan O'Neal was front and center leading mourners as they carried her casket covered with gold and yellow 
flowers. HLN Showbiz Tonight broadcast an interview with Griffin O'Neal, who was barred from the funeral.
Griffin O'Neal, the son of Ryan O'Neal with Joanna Moore, was not a blood relation with Farrah,but he wanted to pay respects to the longtime girlfriend of his father. He showed up at the funeral, but was not allowed inside.
Griffin O'Neal claimed that his father did not want him at the funeral because he knew the truth about what was going on towards the end of Farrah's life. As the actress was bravely fighting her battle with cancer, Ryan was using her and hoping for a big payday. Griffin said that his father was just that shallow and a very dark man.
Griffin also spoke briefly about the drug use by Ryan O'Neal and Redmond O'Neal. Redmond, the son of Farrah and Ryan, was released from jail briefly so he could attend his mother's funeral.
Ryan O'Neal had said in an interview with Barbara Walters on 20/20 that he had asked Farrah to marry him and she said yes but that Farrah wanted a prenup. O'Neal made a joke of it, but in light of Griffin O'Neal's statement it takes on a more sinister meaning.
