Murrysville, Pennsylvania - May 24, 2009

This up-scale community in western Westmoreland county, just east of Pittsburgh, has been a hot-bed of UFO sightings since last year.  Reportings have been coming in on a regular basis over the past couple of months.  The most recent report is of yet another event that occurred on May 22. At approximately 4:00 a.m., the witness observed an object moving slowly and just above the treeline in front of their house.  The object doesn't appear to be any type of conventional aircraft.  The picture at the right is a blown-up still photo of the object photographed with a Sony HDR-XR500V HD camcorder.  The entire footage has been submitted to "You Tube" by the witness, and may be viewed by going to www.youtube.com/seeingUFOsPA.  The Mutual UFO Network (Mufon) continues to work with the witness to identify this recurring mystery in this rural section of the county.  The witness has observed a variety of strange and unusual objects in the sky since 2008, including neon green and orange fireballs, red pulsating disks, cigar-shaped UFO's, and triangular shaped UFO's.

There are suspected "UFO corridors" that are believed to exist throughout the United States.  These corridors have unusually high sightings of UFO's that may suggest that there are routes that are used by the objects as they carry out whatever their mission may be.  Perhaps the Murrysville area may be located within one of these corridors.

Other sightings from across the United States....

Killingly, Connecticut - May 23, 2009 -

Two witnesses observed and orange glow in the sky.  At first they thought perhaps it was an aircraft that could possibly be on fire.  Upon further inspection, the object appeared to look disk, or oval-shaped, with an orange fireball around it's mid-section.  The object gained altitude rather quickly, and the fireball seemed to surround the object in a huge spike-like fashion.  The object made no sound, and continued to gain altitude until the witnesses lost sight of it behind the clouds.

Huntsville, Texas - May 23, 2009 -

A huge multi-leveled, triangular-shaped object was observed hovering in the sky over Huntsville.  The object was in a vertical position, in the shape of a triangle, with white orbs illuminating its three points.  The object was silent as it hovered.  Viewing the object through binoculars, the witness stated that there were alternating red and green pulsating lights in each white orb.  After viewing the object for ten minutes, a small white orb quickly shot out of the left side of the object.  The witness walked over to his neighbor's house to view the object from a different angle, when he noticed a silver cylinder rotating clockwise in the middle of the object.  The object remained silent and motionless for approximately fifteen minutes before it just disappeared right before the witness' eyes.

Centralia, Washington - May 22, 2009 -

Several witnesses observed a very bright oval-shaped object appearing on the western horizon.  The object traveled west to east at a steady pace, and appeared to be approximately 3,000 - 4,000 feet in altitude.  The object passed their home, making no sound, and then appeared to slow down as it approached a nearby hill.  The object then started dimming to a pale yellow, before vanishing entirely.

Hampshire, West Virginia - May 21, 2009 -

Witness reports observing a spherical illuminated object with golden light and small red lights.   According to the witness, the object was definitely beaming a "spotlight" down to the ground.  The object was totally illumiated in a rich golden color.  There was no sound associated with the object and it appeared to move off slowly towards a nearby mountain, as it continued to occasionally beam a spotlight as if searching for something.  The witness is convinced that this object was not a helicopter.
