
World famous Molly Butler Lodge in Greer, Arizona, just a few hours from Phoenix, kicks off the Christmas season with its grand Christmas tree lighting on November 14, 2009 at 6:30 p.m.
The celebration starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. in front of a 70-foot decorated tree with caroling from local students. The lights on the Christmas tree go on at 7 p.m. The Molly Butler Lodge will be decked out with Olde Time Christmas decor and more than 100,000 Christmas lights will illuminate the spectacular lodge. Following the lighting ceremony, guests can enjoy country music, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, a chance for photos, and ticket giveaways to the North Pole Experience, an interactive Santa's Workshop that starts in Greer on November 27th.
Molly Butler Lodge's ceremonial lighting is free to the public and the award-winning chop house at the Molly Butler Lodge will be providing appetizers, sodas, hot cocoa, and coffee for guests.
