Twilight New Moon red carpet premiere to be streamed live on MySpace

Fans can watch the New Moon premiere live on MySpace

For the millions of Twilight fans who wish they could be in Los Angeles on Monday, November 16, they can still view The Twilight Saga: New Moon red carpet premiere in real time as the event will be streamed live on MySpace. The New Moon premiere official myspace page was just launched on November 10 and will host an exclusive live stream from the red carpet at http://www.myspace.com/newmoonpremiere.

The red carpet arrivals wil stream live beginning at 6 pm Pacific time. Anya Marina, singer of "Satellite Heart" on the New Moon soundtrack, will co-host the broadcast along with the winner of the Red Carpet Correspondent contest.

Meanwhile, the day before the red carpet premiere, Borders will be hosting a live global webcast called "New Moon Live" featuring the top Twilight/New Moon fansites. A live video webcast will take place from the Borders Westwood store in LA Sunday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. PST, 5 p.m. EST.

Confirmed participants in the live, global fan event include: Twilight Series Theories (www.twilightseriestheories.com), Twilight Lexicon (www.twilightlexicon.com), Twilight Source (www.twilightsource.com), Twilight Facebook (www.facebook.com/twilight), His Golden Eyes (www.hisgoldeneyes.com), Twilighters Anonymous (www.twilightersanonymous.com), and Twilight Moms (www.twilightmoms.com).

The live Webcast event, scheduled to run for approximately 90 minutes, will also provide viewers all around the world with an interactive way to participate using Facebook Live Stream Box. The feature enables Facebook users to connect, share, and post updates in real-time as they watch the event online. Viewers who are not Facebook users can still see all comments posted from other Facebook users during event. The event will also be available as a podcast at many of the participating sites.
