The Maryland division will host a Regional Youth Circuit (RYC) competition on February 7 -8, 2009 in Crownsville, MD.  Participation in an RYC or an SYC (Super Youth Circuit) or a National Youth Circuit event is required in order to qualify for Summer National Championships in Youth-10 and Youth-12. For more information see the Maryland Division web page or follow the link I've included below.

The Charm City Classic's Referee Clinic with Jeff Bukantz, scheduled for Saturday December 6, has been canceled. Maryland Division Executive Committee confirmed that Mr. Bukantz had to cancel.

Speaking of the Charm City Classic, the December 4 pre-registration deadline draws near. If you are interested in fencing, save yourself a couple bucks and pre-register.

Interested in learning how to fence? Maryland Fencing Club just opened their registration for its Winter term (Jan-Feb). Classes meet twice per week and are just $140 for the two months. Visit www.marylandfencing.com for details.
