Much has been written lately by Motorcycle Examiners trying to explain why they ride or what they most enjoy about riding. For those of you reading my articles, you already have a sense my passion for riding.
In my series of articles in the “Cruiser vs. Sport Bike” discussion I shared my reason for riding a cruiser in Cruiser or sport bike – what type of motorcycle is best for you?; cruiser as an errand bike was the topic of Cruiser – a truly versatile bike for all your needs; and the pure joy of riding in Cruiser or sport bike – enjoying the ride.
A few Motorcycle Examiners have exchanged articles with one another to describe the motorcycle and or the reason for riding. Included in these guest articles are Ken, National Motorcycle Examiner, writing for Tom’s Baltimore Motorcycle Travel Examiner site with National Motorcycle Examiner: ‘Why I ride’. In turn, Tom wrote for Ken’s site with Two-wheels that changed my life. Tom also wrote an article for this Motorcycle Travel Examiner site titled Baltimore Motorcycle Travel Examiner – ‘Why I enjoy riding’. My column for Tom’s site was National Motorcycle Travel Examiner – ‘What I enjoy about motorcycling’.
Recently, Mary, the Shreveport Motorcycle Travel Examiner, shared with us why she rides with My first motorcycle memory; why I ride. Mary also asked her readers to share their stories. Many Examiners jumped at the opportunity. Abby, the Fort Collins Motorcycle Travel Examiner shared pictures of some of her over 30 years of riding in Memory Lane – photos from motorcycle rides throughout the USA and Canada. David, the Seattle Motorcycle Travel Examiner also wrote his reasons for riding in Why I ride motorcycles.
One of my recent articles, Motorcycles: why women ride, had women and men alike leaving interesting comments about motorcycling, the love of motorcycling, and women motorcyclists.
