The Flying Saucer at the Rivermarket was buzzing on the night of March 12, 2009 during the event “Shorts-N-Suds”. There was barely standing room among all of the people that came out to support and donate to the Special Olympics. The participants were great sports while dancing around the stage and entertaining the audience to raise money for the boxers they modeled. The event raised over $7,000 during the auction. Everyone had a great time supporting a wonderful cause.
