Get ready for what could be one of the best Main Events in professional boxing Oklahoma has ever seen! Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Remington Park Casino in Oklahoma City, five professional bouts, doors open at 6:00, fights start at 7:00.
In the Main Event, it's an exciting match-up between world ranked Eric Fields, (12-1, 10 KO’s), from Ardmore, OK, versus rough, tough Adam "The Hitman" Harris (10-1, 7 KOs), coming all the way from Worcester, Massachusetts. As an amateur, Fields was a two time National Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion in 2005 and again in 2006. Fields turned pro in 2007 and in his tenth professional fight, knocked out former IBF Cruiserweight Champion Kelvin Davis in 55 seconds on national TV. Also featured on the card in a co-main event is Oklahoma Lightweight Champion Noah Zuhdi (8-0, 8 KOs), named by The Oklahoman as Oklahoma's Boxing Prospect of the year for 2008. Zuhdi’s opponent is TBA.
A four round bout with the very popular heavyweight Ron "the Iceman" Aubrey (6-2, 6 KOs) is set. Aubrey is scheduled to fight Marcus Brown from Arkansas. Aubrey was a former OKC Blazer and as a hockey player, Aubrey instigated and fought over 600 fights on the ice rink. After becoming a professional boxer, Aubrey has made a name for himself as an entertaining and talented fighter and has become very popular with fight fans.
Delray Raines (15-6, 10 KOs) of Paris, Arkansas, who recently lost a close 12 round decision for the WBO NBO Middleweight Title, will be fighting in a six round bout. Raines is ranked No. 35 in the U.S. and is extremely talented. Raines’ opponent is TBA.
Veteran Super Middleweight Terrance Jones, known as the "Scorpion"is scheduled to fight Lyle Barron from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
