So, I've got this tip I'm trying to confirm that Charles Karel Bouley, the KGO talk host who got fired after accidentally spewing some swear words when his microphone should have been off, will be broadcasting locally again.

I'm told you'll soon be able to hear him on KNGY-FM (92.7)  M-Th 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. and on Monterey's KRXA-AM (540) M-Wed 9p.m. to 12 a.m. and Thursday 11p.m. to 12a.m.

His Website, however, says he is eight days away from returning to radio.

I just got off the phone with Karel, who is self-syndicating to those stations, and looking for any others. He'd like to be on KKGN-AM (960) too.

If technical aspects are worked out, he's starting March 2; if he can't get them fixed, March 9. This is great for the Bay. He's a voice that needs to be heard and the KGO-AM should have supported, if only to have some youth and diversity. He's sort of the anti-Savage, a guy who pisses a lot of people off, but is entertraining enough to keep even the haters listening for hours.
