Monta Ellis arrives at Warriors training camp -- this time on four wheels, unfortunately

This is not the vehicle Monta Ellis injured his left ankle on

Monta Ellis rolled into the Warriors' practice facility on Monday morning, although rolled is a bad choice of words.

With one foot walking and the other resting on a rolling walker, Ellis joined his teammates for the first time since injuring his left ankle in an off-court injury more than a month ago in Jackson, Miss.

Ellis initially told the team he was hurt while playing basketball but there have been reports he acknowledged to the Warriors he first lied and that he sustained the injury on a moped.

Seems like that should be the end of it.

But Ellis and his agent, Jeff Fried, still must meet with Warriors management next Wednesday.

Warriors owner Chris Cohan and Robert Rowell are likely to be at the gathering, but it remains to be seen whether  or not vice president of basketball operations Chris Mullin will be in attendance.

Mullin has one more year remaining on his contract, but there are signs that he won't be back. Last Thursday, Mullin deflected a question as to whether he wanted to come back to the Warriors next year.

According to Stephen Jackson, Mullin also has not been participating in any of his contract extension talks. Jackson said Saturday he has been dealing exclusively with Cohan and Rowell.
