BBC 3 has released clips for the upcoming documentary entitled "Britney Spears Saved My Life."

One fan portrayed in the documentary reportedly spent well over £10,000 on Spears-related merchandise, tour tickets, and the like, and has consistently spent ninety percent of his monthly salary merely to continue the habit.

Matthew Blyth, 20, says that he is dedicated fan, and his devotion has extended well past simple admiration: "I have been with her from the very start and she is literally my life - I'm not one of those fans who abandoned her after her break down (...] It started off with an obsession with her music but now I think I have ended up with an obsession for her - I would do anything to meet her"

Blyth has never met the singer, but dreams of doing so. He has seen her current tour twice thus far.

Below are clips from the documentary, set to air Sunday July 5th on BBC 3.
