Anti-gay activist Fred Phelps and members of Kansas' Westboro Baptist Church plan to picket Michael Jackson's funeral on Tuesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, according to The Advocate.

Phelps and his clan, infamous for showing up at funerals of fallen U.S. soldiers holding up signs saying "God Hates F-gs", blame everything that is wrong in the world on homosexuals.

The church put the following announcement on its website:

"Michael Wacko Jacko Jackson is in hell! WBC will be there to remind you to stop worshiping the dead. We will be there to tell you to Thank God for the death of this filthy, adulterous, idolatrous, gender-confused, nationality-confused, unthankful brute beast. We will be there to remind you that God Killed Wacko Jacko."

Phelps founded the Westboro Baptist Church in 1955.  He and his congregation, which consists mainly of his family, began picketing funerals of people who died of AIDS in 1991.

The church said its mission is "opposing the f-g lifestyle of soul-damning, nation-destroying filth."
