This Friday, Gentleman Jack is returning to St. Louis to share in a night of revelry. Last year Mr. Jack Daniel took the long trek from Lynchburg, Tennessee, to St. Louis and turned the Moto Museum into a New York Underground Subway stop. There were B-boys breakin', pop-lockin' and battle dancing in the middle of the dance floor. Remniscent of a scene from Krush Grove, people were crowded arounded bobbing their heads to the beat and hyping the breakers up. To the left, DJs and a live band were mixin' and scratchin' classic and new faves. Plus, we were blessed with most fantastic mash-up of hip-hop and rock music - "Smells Like Teen Spirit"! Who doesn't love some Kurt Cobane. The diverse crowd of Generation X & Y were fully representing and everyone was happy. The entertainment was a rave and the complimentary Jack Daniel's cocktails....well, aah. The full report of last year's can be read here.
I assure you that you will not want to miss this evening. If you have not registered, then do so right away...and arrive on time!
