Indycar veteran Ed Carpenter returned to his karting roots and won Sunday's Mazda RoboPong 200 at New Castle Motorsports pPark, putting to rest wild speculation that he can't get it done on a road course. Before going into detail, let's get some answers to frequently asked questions out of the way:

Nearly all forms of open-wheel racing were represented including Star Mazda and F1 hopeful Conor Daly, Indy Pro Series Champion Jay Howard, Asian Karting Queen Michele Bumgarner and Indy 500 winner Dan Wheldon. USAC was also represented by Sprint/Midget stand out Rex Norris and Brian Gerster.
