The FunDunker at Lake Lanier Water Park

Spending an entire day at Lake Lanier’s Chattahoochee Rapids Beach & WaterPark is a great way to cool off and get back to nature. Unlike White Water (the concrete jungle) lush landscaping surrounds the water park at Lake Lanier. The slides and attractions are tucked away to create a beautiful, natural setting, so you feel like you’re spending the day at the lake, and not at yet another water park.

With more than a dozen exciting rides and attractions, Chattahoochee Rapids Beach & WaterPark at Lake Lanier offers summer fun for the entire family. The Beach & WaterPark is a multi attraction interactive family environment that offers endless fun while getting drenched. Popular attractions include Wild Waves, Georgia’s largest wave pool, ten different water slides, a super FunDunker. a Kiddie Lagoon and Wiggle Waves, perfect for pint-sized guests. Plus, there’s a ½-mile stretch of white sandy beach to relax in the sun and catch a few rays.

Chattahoochee Rapids at Lake Lanier is open Sunday through Friday from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM and 10:00 AM-7:00 PM on Saturdays. Regular admission for 42” and taller ranges from $27.99-$29.99, depending on the day of the week. For kids 42” and under admission is $17.99. 4th of July Celebration at Lake Lanier Park: July 3rd and 4th

Lake Lanier Islands Resort will host a 4th of July Gala Weekend & Fireworks Extravaganza. Enjoy live entertainment at the Beach and Water Park, or golf at the new Legacy on Lanier Golf Club.
Live Entertainment:

  • Friday, July 3rd from 11 AM - 2 PM - Join Q100's Adam Bomb for a chance to win exciting prizes and giveaways, including 4 season passes to Chattahoochee Rapids Beach & WaterPark.
  • Saturday, July 4th from 10AM to Noon - Star 94's Cindy from the Cindy and Ray Show will be onsite  to hand out G2, Gatorade's NEW Low Calorie Sport's Drink.
  • Saturday, July 4th from 1:30-3:30 PM - Join Jordan Gray from B98.5 for Family Olympics. Four families will compete in a series of timed events on various park attractions, including a challenging ropes course, the wave pool, and a waterslide. The winning family will receive a fabulous two-night Family Fun Package at Lake Lanier Islands Resort.

Fireworks at Lake Lanier:

Lake Lanier Islands is home of North Georgia's largest fireworks display. Pricing: After 3:00 PM, $14.99 per person (includes entry into water park). After 7:00 PM: $8 per vehicle and $10.00 per person water park admission. Fireworks will go off after dark on both Friday and Saturday.
