Jessica Faye Carter is an author and columnist on issues related to cultural and gender diversity. She is the author of Double Outsiders (JIST, 2007), an innovative look at the experiences of professional women of color. She is currently the CEO of Nette Media, a social media company for women that includes WomenSuite, SuiteSpot, and The Cloud, in its network of sites. She was previously a corporate lawyer on Wall Street and holds a J.D. from Duke University School of Law, an M.B.A. from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in economics from Spelman College.
