Allen Ray Andrade's 'trans panic' defense couldn't sway the jury in the Angie Zapata murder case and he was found guilty in today's verdict.

HRC President Joe Solmonese issued a statement on the verdict that said, in part, "The murder of Angie Zapata, just 18-years-old, is a tragic reminder of the hate and ignorance that threatens the transgender community every day."

According to Pam's House Blend, Andrade will be sentenced to life without parole.
