Van Jones, self-avowed Communist and Barack Obama's 'green jobs czar,' is rumored to be resigning.
So what?
Obama has more radical, leftwing extremists already in the White House and an entire pool of these nutcases from which to choose yet another Marxist for the job.
In fact, Obama's senior political adviser who has been with him since the early days of his political career in Chicago is another extremist. Her name is Valerie Jarrett, and her views on a variety of issues mirror those of Jones, Emanuel, Lloyd, and Holdren.
It was Jarrett herself who stated she had followed Jones since his days of activism in Oakland and that she was 'happy to have captured him for White House duty.'
Jarrett, as I pointed out on Sean Hannity’s radio show five weeks ago, is the self-proclaimed keeper of Obama’s urban/racial “authenticity.” The Obamas don’t make a move without her, according to their closest friends and allies. Jarrett’s praise for Jones’s Oakland activism is explicit endorsement of his race-baiting career at Ella Baker, funded by the Soros-supported Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights/Ford Foundation/Rockefeller Foundation, and his Free Mumia agitation in the Bay Area schools — where he lambasted moderate civil rights leaders for objecting to politicizing the classrooms and where his pro-Mumia allies likened supporters of murdered police officer Daniel Faulkner to the KKK.
Thus, we see that Valerie Jarrett has the President's ear as no other adviser in the White House. And her views are as far outside the mainstream as any of the czars with whom Obama has surrounded himself.
Don't get me wrong. The resignation of Van Jones would be a major victory for conservative voices who have sounded the bell of alarm over a Communist serving out of the White House. Yet realism prevents us from an all-out celebration. Obama can simply appoint another Communist who is more discreet. And he can instruct the czars who are already in place to tone down the rhetoric so as not to arouse the suspicions and the ire of the electorate.
The problem with this Administration is that it is so far outside the mainstream of political thought in America that the citizens are prone to be fooled into thinking that a victory such as the resignation of Van Jones or the deletion of a public option from the healthcare bill are tantamount to winning the war.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The reason is that Obama has loaded up his Administration with so many extremists that they come a dime a dozen. One can easily be replaced with another, except the next time he will have learned to choose someone whose extremism is much more carefully hidden and couched in more moderate rhetoric.
And the healthcare proposal Obama wants approved will mandate a government takeover of healthcare even without a so-called 'public option.'
Americans by the millions are finally waking up to the fact that they have elected to the White House a leftwing extremist who will pleasantly smile at you while outright lying, a man who is so far outside the norm of American Constitutional thought that he is quite dangerous.
It is no wonder that hordes of parents are angry and threatening to keep their children out of school on September 8 rather than have them subjected to Obama propaganda reminiscent of the worst dictators the world has ever seen--Hitler, Mussolini, Castro, and Stalin.
This battle is far from over no matter what Van Jones does.
