No, it's not a band like Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. This is no singing group, and if they were, they would be immediately branded as 'anti-music.'
McCain, Graham, Collins, and Snowe are four Republican U.S. Senators that are either on the fence or committed to voting in favor of the ominous Cap and Trade bill that Obama and socialist Democrats plan to shove down our throats.
Collins and Snowe, in particular, are most likely to vote in favor of the monstrosity, but don't be surprised if McCain jumps on board at the last minute. McCain has made no attempt to hide his support for far-Left wacko enviro-loonies who are perpetrating the big lie that human beings are causing 'climate change.'
Wonder how the last ice age ended, given that human beings were not even on the planet at the time!
Yet John McCain threw the weight of his support behind one of the biggest hoaxes ever to be perpetrated in the history of civilization. As Michelle Malkin notes,
Yes, the fate of cap-and-tax is in the hands of Republicans like John McCain. As I warned last May, Sen. McCain has been a member of the global warming hysteria cult for years.
Malkin goes further to describe McCain's supposed 'epiphany' on the subject, along with a summary of how his views have been thoroughly debunked by climate scientists. Contact information is also provided so that citizens can demand that McCain vote no on the Cap and Trade bill.
Lindsey Graham is another matter. As McCain's lapdog, he will more than likely vote with McCain, but his constituents in South Carolina are firmly opposed to this bill, along with a majority of the rest of America. If Graham knows what's good for him, he had best vote no. He almost lost his opportunity to run again in 2008 due to citizen outrage over his stance on illegal aliens. But the citizens forgave him and sent him back to Washington. They may not be so forgiving next time.
The good news? About a dozen Democratic Senators have openly expressed doubts on Cap and Trade due to its enormous costs to citizens and our economy. For the full scoop on who can be most easily swayed to vote no, read this from the Los Angeles Times.
In addition, for those who are still unconvinced that man-made climate change is a hoax, this recent article in Canada Free Press thoroughly disputes and totally debunks the common notion of the far-Left enviro-loonies that 'sea levels are rising worldwide.' This is one more example of the fact that the entire basis for passing a Cap and Trade bill on energy and the environment is bogus.
Time to let every Senator know that we, the citizens, will not stand for this sham.
