This is a special news alert regarding the attempt of Barack Obama and the Democrat-controlled Congress to enact a government takeover of healthcare in the U.S.

Word came late Monday that House Chairman Henry Waxman has been in renewed negotiations all day with so-called 'conservative' blue dog Democrats in an attempt to reach a compromise bill that will still give Obama and the Democratic leadership the core of what they want--government control of the healthcare system.

Waxman, according to a news bulletin on Fox News Channel, claims that he will have a finalized version of the bill ready by this Wednesday.

And House Speaker Nancy Pelosi still claims that she has the votes to approve the new legislation and that a floor vote could come by Friday, prior to the August recess.

Pelosi had previously claimed there would be no vote on healthcare until representatives return from the break in September.

Barack Obama's chief political strategist and Chicago henchman Rahm Emanuel is said to have been turning up the heat on the blue dogs so that the President could save face by getting at least one Congressional chamber to vote on his healthcare plan before the recess.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-NV, has already stated that the Senate will not vote on the issue until September.

However, in more breaking news concerning behind-the-scenes negotiations on the government takeover, a bipartisan Senate panel has been working in secret to forge a compromise bill.

The Senators involved in the secret negotiations are as follows:  Max Baucus (D-Mont), Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), Kent Conrad (D-ND), Jeff Bingaman (D-NM), Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming), and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine).

Reportedly Baucus has been under intense pressure from the White House (read that, Rahm Emanuel) to produce a compromise bill that can be put to the Senate floor for a vote in short order.

With RINOS such as Olympia Snowe on the panel, we can rest assured that non-conservative Republicans will be on board with producing some sort of version of government-controlled healthcare, although at this point reports indicate that the Senate panel has removed from the legislation a 'public option' requirement.

It doesn't take an enormous amount of digging to see what's going on here.  The self-styled 'rulers' who now run Washington seem intent on ramming through legislation that no one has read and that even Barack Obama had great difficulty explaining in his news conference last week.  The ultra-liberal Democratic leadership, along with the 'blue dog Dems' and the RINOS (Republicans in Name Only') would like nothing better than to foist upon an unsuspecting public a multi-trillion-dollar healthcare fiasco, complete with rationing, just so they can fulfill some sort of ideological obligation in their demented, brainwashed minds that 'government must take care of ALL of the needs of the people,' although our form of government requires no such thing at all.

In none of the secret negotiations either in the House or the Senate have our elected officials even remotely considered direct tax deductions of the costs of purchasing health insurance policies, tort reform, or allowing citizens to purchase insurance plans across state lines, all of which would drive down costs and drive up the number of the insured.

For this reason citizens should demand that their representatives in Washington cease immediately from further negotiations on healthcare until these workable, sensible solutions are on the table.

Perhaps it is even time for citizens to threaten severe political retaliation against Senators and Representatives unless they begin to pay attention to us.

And by this I am not speaking merely of the next election.

We can certainly disrupt their lives by heckling them to silence in town hall meetings, demonstrating in front of their home offices while they are home on recess, and publicly humiliating them, video cameras in hand, for even remotely considering a government takeover and destruction of the most successful healthcare system in the entire world.  These video encounters can be placed on YouTube for all to see.

It is becoming all too clear that Obama, the Democrats, and moderate/liberal Republicans still have not gotten the message that the citizens in the heartland are fed up to the hilt with them, and we will NOT take any more.

The rage the citizens are feeling toward the government is sure to spill into the streets sooner or later unless the Congress vermin back off from their asinine proposals.

We, the citizens who love this country but loathe the present government, deserve 1000 times better than what we are getting.

And if these puppet peons of George Soros and Moveon.org who masquerade as representatives of the people do not completely scrap their plans to ruin American healthcare with mediocrity, then they will have hell to pay when they face the ire of an electorate that is on the brink of civil unrest.
