Obama-thugs try to destroy common citizens who oppose them

Pundits call it 'the politics of destruction.'  In the past the tactic was used by political candidates in an attempt to destroy the reputation of the opposing candidate in a campaign.

However, the Obama team has taken the politics of destruction to a new low.  The Obama-thugs use the tactic against common citizens who oppose them.

The latest target is one of the white firefighters in New Haven, Connecticut who was unfairly denied a promotion in a case of racial discrimination.  U.S. Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor ruled in favor of the City of New Haven in their blatant act of denying promotions to firefighters who earned them.  Of course, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Sotomayor's ruling (a very common occurrence in her career), and the white firefighters were thus able to claim their rightful promotions.

One would think that would be the end of the story.

Not so with the Obama administration.

Sotomayor-backers have now decided to 'fight back' by going on a mission of 'search and destroy,' not against the Supreme Court or politicians who supported the firefighters, but against one of the white firefighters who simply wanted to be given what he was due.

From McClatchy:

Supporters of Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor are quietly targeting the Connecticut firefighter who's at the center of Sotomayor's most controversial ruling.

On the eve of Sotomayor's Senate confirmation hearing, her advocates have been urging journalists to scrutinize what one called the "troubled and litigious work history" of firefighter Frank Ricci.

Of course, Sotomayor's 'advocates' are Obama operatives who pushed for and support her nomination and confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court, despite being the one Judge in the nation whose decisions have been overturned by SCOTUS more than any other federal judge.

Ricci is dyslexic--a sympathetic personality who perfectly depicts the fact that persons with certain physical impairments can still do an admirable job in the workforce.

The Cato Institute, a well-known libertarian think-tank, fired back at the Obama-thugs who are attempting to destroy a good man:

"To go after so sympathetic a plaintiff as Frank Ricci . . . is a new low in the politics of personal destruction," said Roger Pilon, the director of the libertarian Cato Institute's Center for Constitutional Studies. "If they were smart, they'd keep a low profile."

Ricci, though, has his own advocates, including conservative commentators such as CNN's Lou Dobbs and Fox's Sean Hannity.

This is not the first time the Obama-thugs have sought to destroy the reputation of a common, everyday citizen who opposed them.  We witnessed the same sort of Chicago-gangland thuggery at work when 'Joe the Plumber' Wurzelbacher dared to question the impact Obama's proposed economic policies would have on the common man and small business owners.

Obama operatives went to work in Ohio, digging up all they could find on Joe with one single goal in mind--search and destroy.  A state employee illegally gained access to Joe's personal records on file with the state of Ohio concerning his divorce and alimony issues.

It did not matter that this had absolutely nothing to do with Joe's question for Barack Obama.  Now that he had dared question 'the chosen one' he had to be personally destroyed, his reputation ruined, no matter what laws had to be broken in order to do so.

This is 'the Chicago way,' you see.

The verdict is still out on whether or not Obama-thugs will succeed in ruining Frank Ricci in the attempt to secure Sotomayor's confirmation.  But Ricci makes a compelling case against her:

With his awards for bravery, some 17 years of fire department service and history of overcoming dyslexia, Ricci has become a compelling human character in the Sotomayor confirmation drama. Senate Republicans have summoned him, along with Lt. Ben Vargas of the New Haven Fire Department, as two of their 14 witnesses next week.
