When it was first reported that an Air France jet carrying over 200 passengers had disappeared into the Atlantic Ocean, the public was given assurances by the U.S. Government that terrorism was not involved, even before the wreckage had been found...a highly odd course of action given that investigators at that point knew nothing.

Then the public was informed that a massive amount of wreckage had been found floating in the ocean.  Once again we were told that the aircraft apparently had been 'struck by lightening,' which, again, was an exceedingly odd statement given that no examination of the evidence had yet been done.

Late Tuesday evening, however, news was leaked (h/t to Matt Drudge) that a South American news agency had reported just days prior to the disappearance of the Air France flight that the airline had received a bomb threat for one of its flights from South America to Paris on May 27.

According to Momento 24:

The airport safety delayed an Air France flight this evening before departing for Paris immediately after the company received a bomb threat over the phone at the airport of Ezeiza.

None of this, of course, has been reported in the mainstream media, although this information was available on May 27.

It is difficult to believe that the U.S. military and other security agencies of the U.S. Government were not aware of this bomb threat.  It is their business to know.  The question is, why were the Feds so quick to dismiss any suggestion of terrorism and even go further to suggest a lightening strike before anyone had been able to investigate the wreckage?

In addition, a Continental Airlines pilot reported seeing a missile or a rocket flying near the plane over Texas

Over the past several weeks we have been reminded of the continuing danger of extremist Muslim terrorism as a plot to set off a bomb at a synagogue in NYC was foiled and a military recruiter was shot down in cold blood by homegrown Islamic converts.

To be sure, Barack Obama and his mouthpieces in the mainstream media do not wish to give too much publicity to Muslim Jihadists in this era of appeasement toward terrorist organizations and their state sponsors.  It would not be too far-fetched to surmise that this is the reason for the news blackout of the bomb threat against Air France.

Am I suggesting that the Air France disaster over the Atlantic was definitely the work of terrorists?  Not yet.  But the bombshell news that the airline had been threatened just days prior to that flight suddenly makes that theory much more plausible.
