A reminder from Parents for Public Schools:

Submit your application any time by this Friday, Jan. 9, to one of the following locations. Meeting the deadline increases your chances of getting a school you want.

Educational Placement Center

555 Franklin Street

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

[From Caroline: Sorry for the late reminder -- if you read this right now and run out the door, you can make it to the following two locations:]

January 7 4-7pm Jean Parker Elementary; 840 Broadway St. @ Powell St.

Malcolm X Academy*; 350 Harbor Rd @Middle Point Rd.

* Event at Malcolm X Academy also includes a Kindergarten Readiness presentation and enrollment process presentation. Dinner and childcare included between 4-6pm.

January 8 4-7pm West Portal Elementary; 5 Lenox Way

Note: The deadline is past for Lowell High School and for the first audition round at School of the Arts. Charter schools handle their own admissions process and may have their own deadlines.
