Lasagne, lasagna. No matter how you spell it, one thing is certain; lasagna is delicious. After all, who can resist those towering layers of noodles, bubbly melted cheese and tasty sauce and rich fillings? For all you lasagna lovers, you are in luck. July 29th is National Lasagna Day.

Lasagna is both a noodle and a dish and is derived from the Greek word lasanon. Popular all over the world, lasagna is made in many different ways. From meats and vegetables, to different kinds of sauces and cheeses, lasagna is a favorite dish for many people.
