Think word association, along the lines of "What goes with what?"  What's the beverage of choice at a hot, sweaty baseball game?  Cerveza, of course.  What comes to mind when you think of toasting for New Year's Eve?  The bubbly, of course.

Beaujolais Nouveau has become associated with Thanksgiving dinner, pretty much along those same lines.  Maybe it's the date as they are just a week apart; the releasing of the Beaujolais Nouveau and the Thanksgiving holiday.

And red wine can be an excellent accompaniement with white meat!
