It looks like the Calgary Stampede -- “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth" -- will have to get by this year without the buzz a visit from Paris Hilton would generate.

Hilton was scheduled to host a party July 5 at Cowboys nightclub in Calgary with Doug Reinhardt of MTV’s The Hills. But he’s no longer her boyfriend and Hilton is now scheduled to be in Dubai filming her new TV show, Paris Hilton’s Dubai BFF, during the Stampede’s run from July 3-12.

The Calgary Stampede is the world’s largest outdoor rodeo. Over the years, it also has evolved into a major annual festival, featuring musical performances, shows, chuck wagon races, a midway, and children’s events.  The parade on the first day of the Stampede often attracts more than a third of a million spectators.

This year’s concert line-up includes performances by Country greats Reba McEntire, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesny, and George Strait. Hilton’s former BFF, Nicole Ritchie, has been to the Stampede to watch her boyfriend Joel Madden perform with the punk group Good Charlotte.

Hilton, 28, dated Reinhardt, 24, for six months before they split last week.
