The knife that removed Mike's manhood.

For those unaware of the latest internet buzz, Robin, a wife of a former 2008 MBA graduate from Georgetown created a website My Husband Needs a Job (MyHusbandNeedsAJob.com) in an attempt to get a job for her husband Mike.

The story is getting publicized as a cute, offbeat story that captures the core issues and problems facing Americans in a difficult economy.

While that might be somewhat intruiging, what's more interesting is that Mike's wife Robin publicly severed his manhood for millions of viewers to see.  Even more disturbing is that Mike is fine with it.

Robin states on the homepage of the website:

This site was born out of frustration with the job market.  My husband graduated in 2008 with an MBA from Georgetown.  After Mike finished his MBA, we moved back to California to be closer to family.  We both had high expectations for his career and our life after business school.  However, those expectations quickly changed as we were faced with this horrible economy.  After almost ten months of watching my wonderful husband work tirelessly to find a job, I decided to take matters into my own hands and help him stand out in a sea of unemployed.

Take a look around my site and get to know Mike.  Learn more about him on the About Mike and Meet Mike pages.  If you have any questions or would like the opportunity to meet my husband, you can email me on the Contact Mike page.  Please pass this website along to friends, family, colleagues, and those who are hiring.  I know each visitor to this site will think my husband is as great as I do.  Someday soon one good company will become even better with him on their team.

Thanks for visiting!

Robin

You would hope that Mike would be horrified by this website.  His wife is literally rubbing salt on his unemployed wounds.  She's made it very apparent that Mike is incapable of managing his own life.  Being able to manage one's life is typically an important attribute during interviews.  But more importantly, Robin publicly castrated her husband and Mike has no problem with it.  He's actively participating in the website and being forced to hold ridiculous signs while his evil wife takes photos of him.

I believe it was the handsome NBA player Sam Cassell that once said, "Some guys run their house. Some guys run around their house."

Robin may have proved she's a marketing genius, but Mike's life is over.
