Nu’Keese Richardson is one of the three Tennessee football players arrested for attempted robbery. Nu’Keese Richardson has been released from jail, although it is not certain why he was released. He has been held since Thursday in a Knox County detention facility in lieu of a $19,500 bond.
Two of his other Tennessee teammates and accomplices Janzen Jackson and Mike Edwards have also been released from jail. One of the teammates posted bond, while the other was released on his own recognizance.
I still can’t get over what an embarrassment to Tennessee these boys are. Everything in the world was going their way, and they had to do something stupid like get arrested for armed robbery. This crime will follow them for the rest of their lives, and could keep the boys from getting a good job or contract after they graduate.
Luckily, the trio didn’t play at tonight’s game against Mississippi. If they would have played, there would have been a significant amount of uproar, as it would then appear as if they could get away with just about anything.
Hopefully the three Tennessee players that were arrested will take this situation and turn it in to a learning experience. Not only did they not get anything from their victims, but they could have very well ruined their college and football careers.
