The BIG climate change scam

The first thing to keep in mind whenever considering the validity of any proposed government plan is this: BIG government is for all practical purposes owned by BIG financial institutions who also own BIG corporations. Everything BIG government does serves those BIG interests first. As an afterthought, politicians make a BIG deal about how what they did was really a BIG help for the little guy – especially when all evidence indicates the opposite.

So what is the BIG deal with the BIG climate change issue? Well its nothing small, I can tell you that! In fact it’s so BIG that it is too BIG for just a few nations to deal with. It is so BIG that all nations have to get on board. Now that’s BIG! And how will this BIG plan be implemented? Well, let me tell you it’s going to require a really BIG government – the United Nations. All other former BIG governments will be dwarfed by the new really BIG United Nations.

Here’s how this BIG climate change scam works:

First: a really BIG deal has to be made about climate change, using really BIG graphs and BIG pictures of melting glaciers and stranded sad-looking polar bears. It helps if we tell everyone that when all the ice melts on the BIG polar ice caps and BIG glaciers there will be a really BIG flood wiping out thousands of square miles of populated coastal areas.

Never mind that this is a BIG lie, because as every 7th grade science student knows, melting ice makes no change in the water level because ice floats displacing the exact amount of water it holds – duh! But people always believe BIG lies told by handsome men with BIG smiles using BIG graphs, BIG pictures and BIG scary stories. This strategy has had BIG success for lots of BIG leaders like...well you get the BIG picture.

Second: After a few decades of telling the BIG lies, a BIG lot of peoples’ eyes start to glaze over. Then when they are not looking, BIG government can introduce a BIG program to solve the BIG climate change problem. When the people whose eyes have not glazed over make a BIG stink about the plan, generating BIG piles of letters and the BIG numbers of phone calls faxes and emails sent by a BIG portion of the public, the House of Representatives has a BIG vote to pass the BIG plan anyway because the BIG unwashed masses don’t understand the BIG issues because they can’t grasp the BIG scale of this BIG crisis.

Third: Next comes a BIG meeting of all the BIG leaders from all of the BIG governments in Copenhagen. Afterwards they will all go home to their own countries with the BIG news of how they are going to save the planet (and all the little people) with a BIG new plan. The BIG government leaders will tell all the BIG corporations that there is going to be a BIG new carbon tax charged based upon the carbon output they produce. The BIG consequences of this BIG carbon tax are that the BIG cost won’t be paid by the BIG corporations or their BIG investors in BIG finance. No. The really BIG news is that the BIG price of this program will be paid by the same people that always have to pay the BIG price for BIG government plans – you and me.

How does this work? Well the folks with BIG egos and BIG pretentions of BIG intellects in the BIG Capitol Building in Washington figured a way to rake in BIG money and expand their already BIG power by coupling their BIG carbon tax with BIG carbon offsets. What the heck are carbon offsets? Well they are a way for BIG corporations to continue to pump BIG amounts of carbon dioxide into the air without hurting the BIG profits they make for their BIG investors in BIG finance.

Those carbon offsets are to be sold – through a BIG government plan that will allow BIG financiers to trade carbon offsets on the open market and make BIG profits from their sale. The costs incurred by BIG corporations buying those carbon offsets will be reflected in BIG price increases for every single product and service used in our BIG country.

Now the BIG President, who is comfortable with really BIG numbers, like the BIG bailout of Wall Street BIGwigs and the BIG buyout of Chrysler and the BIG effort to force a BIG government takeover the really BIG medical care system in America, and the BIGgest budget deficit in history (please don’t tell him what comes after a trillion) said in a BIG speech, that the BIG carbon tax would result in BIG increases in the costs of everything. The BIG part that he did not tell any of us is that this BIG new influx of money would all ultimately flow through the BIG hands of BIG government expanding their already too BIG control of money in America.

Not only that, but the BIG countries that produce BIG amounts of carbon dioxide will pay BIG amounts of money to small countries that don’t produce BIG amounts of carbon dioxide to buy their global carbon offsets. This BIG transfer of wealth from America will be funded by the BIG price increases you and I pay for our BIG share of our “global carbon debt.” Once again, the producers are expected to pay a BIG portion of their wealth to the small producers for the crime of being better at producing.

Think of it as BIG global carbon welfare. Of course the income received by countries that produce less carbon, combined with the high cost of buying carbon offsets will discourage them from developing industries that produce carbon dioxide. In other words, they will remain industrially undeveloped because it is easier to get money for nothing than actually produce it yourself. Does any of this sound familiar?

The really BIG thing the BIG President with the really BIG smile did not tell us was that all of these BIG plans, BIG expenses, BIG expansion of BIG government wealth and BIG new United Nations power to “manage” and “enforce” the BIG world carbon taxes, was that the plan would have no impact on the BIG quantities of carbon dioxide pumped into the air because BIG corporation would be able to buy all the BIG offsets they need to continue business as usual and of course keep making BIG profits for the BIG investors in BIG finance.

Also, the other BIG secret is that climate change has nothing to do with the levels of carbon dioxide in the air and that since the early 1800’s, (when we started tracking global temperatures but before we were producing lots of carbon dioxide), there has been no significant change in the natural patterns of global climate fluctuations at all, and absolutely no measurable impact from increased human production of airborne <a href=“http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/10/co2_driven_global_warming_is_n.html”>

So, the BIG conclusion we can draw from this whole BIG article is that the BIG climate change scam is a BIG bunch of hot air, designed to impose BIG taxes on every American. It will create BIG business failures, (not failures of BIG businesses though) BIG unemployment, BIG bankruptcies, BIG foreclosures, BIG economic collapse and a really BIG crisis, which the BIG Presidential advisor with a really BIG ego, Rahm Emmanuel, has told the BIG President should never be wasted – BIGtime!

What BIG plans the BIG President has for his shiny new BIG crisis we can only guess. But you can bet BIG bucks (or whatever you have left) that it will be something really BIG.
