Yahoo turned down a lucrative offer from Microsoft earlier this year, much to the regret of some board members and many shareholders.

Now former AOL CEO Jonathan Miller is reportedly looking to buy all or part of Yahoo.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting Miller is trying to raise money to make a Yahoo deal. That comes on the heels of a New York Times report that says Yahoo should try to Microsoft's MSN unit. And another report that said Miller was orchestrating a takeover with Microsoft's help.

While we wait for that news to shake out, it has buoyed Yahoo's stock price.

And as Google continues to be the runaway leader in Internet search, there are those who still believe Microsoft will make another run at Yahoo, despite reports to the contrary.
