Joose is some pretty powerful stuff - full of caffeine and loads of alcohol. Fortunately for my taste buds, this has a very strong sweet flavor which kills the alcoholic overloaded taste that many of these alcoholic energy drinks have. This makes it very easy to drink - a little too easy. It does not take much time for you to both feel buzzed, and a little lopsided. This is a definite improvement over tilt or sparks - providing better taste and more caffeine than any of the offerings so far. Finishing a can takes some work with the 24oz can - but the taste and the huge alcohol content can makes this a winner in the small but growing field of alcoholic energy drinks.

I have absolutely no idea how much caffeine this drink has - but I can tell you that it has enough! I got a strong kick from it, and the alcohol was strong enough I felt both buzzed and energetic, and kept me bouncing for a good couple hours before sobering up and crashing. I did put a call into United Brands, the creators of this fine drink, and if they get back to me with a caffeine content I will update this as soon as I can get the info. There is enough ginsing and taurine for you to pretend that this is a normal energy drink, and not a gimmicky way to consume lots of alcohol (NOT DISPARAGING - I am all about gimmicky ways to consume alcohol). Wish they listed caffeine somewhere ...

Best of all the alcohol/energy drinks I can find. It does not have the same overbearing flavor that tilt and sparks does, and actually tastes OK for what it is. You can actually down this without feeling like you just drank lemon food coloring. Not that it tastes very good, But it tastes better than all the other offerings out there. I taste mangoes and sour apples. Could definitely drink 2 or 3 a night if I was out and wanted to keep rockin til daylight!

Going for the heavily inked crowd rather than the ravers, Joosed might have hit on a great market for such a drink. It does not go for the party all nighters as much as the harley riding hardcore gotta-keep-movin-til-sunlight crowd. While not a fantastic can, I appreciate the size and "old school" can, rather than drinking a battery or rave logo. The heavy emphasis on the can is on their differentiator, namely the increased alcohol content in the can.
Website:http://www.drinkjoose.com - 5 - same review as joosed orange, same site w no flavor differentiator
Boy, I was expecting something more than this going to the site. First, you get bombarded by bad rock, and lots of distressed type. Follow that by a woman wearing a fur hat and has only hair covering her breasts. Why? Dunno. It is the only place you will see her though. And then you have this wide array of links, like Joose, which has the cans grow from the bottom of the screen, or Events which has a silly promotional event 6 months ago. There is a super-small bit of info on the products screen and a very dull shopping cart. I think they should give a certain web developer I know a couple cases to develop for them a site they can be proud of. ;)
