On it's website, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) vision statement "is to be a leading advocate for justice and mutual understanding." What it doesn't tell you is that "justice" will come under Sharia Law.
This terrorist support organization would have you believe their sole purpose is to promote peaceful relations and understanding, when their true goal is to funnel money to HAMAS and other terrorist organizations.
High ranking members of CAIR have been imprisoned for committing terrorist related crimes, such as providing explosives and weapons to known terrorists, funding their organizations, etc.
The following are some of the highlights:
United States of America v. Sabri Benkahla states "from its founding by Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leaders, CAIR conspired with other affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists." CAIR is also called an "unindicted co-conspirator and member of the Muslim Brotherhood in United States of America v. Holy Land Foundation. Evidence in this same case linked CAIR, through MB, to HAMAS, the Holy Land Foundation (HLF), and the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP).
In an internal memo (translated), IAP refers to "all great heroes such as al-Qassam", a reference to the "Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades”, the armed branch of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and also links itself to the MB. HAMAS also receives financial support from al-Qaeda, who also funds the Taliban.
In 2003, Randall Todd "Ismail" Royer, the former civil rights coordinator and communications specialists for the CAIR, was one of eleven "Jihadists" indicted on several federal weapons and conspiracy charges. He plead guilty to "aiding and abetting the use and discharge of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence" and "aiding and abetting the carrying of an explosive during the commission of a felony." Royer is also said to have received jihad training from al-Qaeda.
Royer and Benkahla were followers of Ali Al-Timimi, who was a lecturer at the Center for Islamic Information and Education at the Dar al Arqam Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia, and also inspired the formation of the "Virginia Jihad Network" which was comprised of Royer, Benkahla and the other co-conspirators. Al-Timimi is also a supporter of al-Qaeda.
Another high ranking member of CAIR, Nihad Awad, at a 1994 event stated "I used to support the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization), and I used to be the President of the General Union of Palestine Students which is part of the PLO here in the United States, but after I researched the situation inside Palestine and outside, I am in support of the Hamas movement more than the PLO." Awad is also a former member of the IAP.
There are many more instances of CAIR officials being indicted and convicted of crimes in furtherance of terroristic Islam, in fact, too many to list in this article without it's becoming grueling to read. The fact is, CAIR is just another criminal enterprise in operation to fund murder and anti-emetic propaganda.
