The internationally acclaimed Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble (DTH Ensemble) will begin its November tour on November 5th (6:00 PM- 7:15 PM) at Christina Cultural Arts Center (CCAC) in Wilmington, DE.  Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble is a 14-member company comprised of young dancers trained in the DTH style.  Dancers from DTH Ensemble will provide an interactive demonstration on the art of classical ballet, using live piano and live dance performance. DTH Ensemble dancers will demonstrate and explain specific exercises, using the barre, partnering techniques, and lifts.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for non-CCAC students.

As audience interaction is encouraged, dancers in the audience should wear dance attire.

According to Christina Cultural Arts Center, this program is appropriate for dancers of all ages, athletes, teaching artists, academic teachers, parents, and the general arts loving public.  As space is limited, reservations are recommended and can be made by calling  CCAC at 302-652-0101.

The Dance Theater of Harlem Residency is part of a national tour made possible in part by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency committed to reinforcing the value of the arts as basic education.
