Getting famous on Youtube, and Introducing Tommi Williams

July 18, 9:17 AM
by Joshua McIntire, Internet Buzz Examiner

Talent is rare.  Good editing, vocal mixin,  and outstanding PR are common.

So, when I find actual talent, I like to spotlight it for the benefit of you, my readers, as well as the individual.  Many true talents have taken to Youtube - this generation's Star Search, in its own way, to show the world their true talents.  Esmee Denters started singing on Youtube and wound up on Oprah and touring with Justin Timberlake!  It can happen.

Strangely, I found this young lady in the real world before I saw her online.  On a recent trip to CA, I thought  I heard a Whitney Houston song playing in the outdoor mall, but it turns out it was 12 year old Tommi Williams.  What a great set of pipes she has on her.  Excellent control, and great range.  She is someone with the talent to go far, but she hasn't hit it big on Youtube, Oprah hasn't called, and so far Justin Timberlake doesn't seem to know her name.

Although . . . she did appear on the Tony Danza show once!

Here's hoping she finds success!  Good luck, Tommi.  Keep at it.

Here is Tommi singing a bit of "I Will Always Love You":

Here she is singing Alicia Keys' "No One".

And, finally, the end-all be-all of "can you sing" songs, The Star Spangled Banner.  Notice, she does not overdo it!

For more info: Here are some great tips on how to get famous on Youtube.  Or for more on Tommi, check out her website at Tommiwilliams.com and leave her a message.
