A new roommate concern?
POSTED June 5, 7:28 PM
I guess I didn't realize that this was a problem for a lot of college students....

HOW TO TALK TO YOUR ROOMMATE ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE

Do you want to talk to friends about climate change but don't know how?
At this interactive workshop you will learn about climate change and ways to engage your friends.

Wednesday, June 11
4:30-7:pm
ATLAS Auditorium
RSVP -- limited to 30 CU undergraduates.

This was in the Buff Bulletin email I got today, and I had to post it because I thought it was hilarious. Only at CU would climate change be an issue to talk about with your roommate. Never mind cleaning duties, friends visiting or parties. We are concerned about global warming.

I just found out that tuition is going up another nine percent next year. I'm going to have to take my wallet to a clinic, because I'm pretty sure it just got raped by CU.“We haven’t taken this up with a cavalier attitude,” said Regent... Read More

POSTED April 18, 1:40 AM
I honestly don't know what Max Karson falling into a hole would really accomplish, but I kind of hope it happens. Plus, I think pushing him into one would make me feel better. When I saw the article on the Daily Camera about Max Karson... Read More

The first signs of summer
POSTED April 16, 11:27 AM
It definitely was a beautiful day today. I skipped my first two classes, so I didn’t arrive on campus until mid-afternoon. I stepped out of my car into the sunshine and arrived on what looked like a scene from MTV’s Spring Break.   All... Read More

Gossiper? Or Just Inquisitive?
POSTED April 10, 8:20 PM
“Journalists are just people who like to gossip and get to do it as their job,” declared my teacher today in class. At first, this statement offended me. Gossip? Me? Never. Okay, so maybe I like to know everything that is going on everywhere.... Read More
