Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman star in Clint Eastwood's new film, 'Invictus,' about Nelson Mandela, a rugby player and bringing unity to South Africa.
I am old enough to remember apartheid in South Africa and February 11, 1990. The day that Nelson Mandela, the head of the ANC, was released for prison. What a joyous feeling was felt and reverberated across the world on that day.
'Invictus,' looks like it is going to be another masterpiece from Clint Eastwood and I fully expect Oscar's for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Director and Best Film for Morgan Freeman, Matt Damon and Clint Eastwood.
Matt Damon is also starring in 'Green Zone.' but I have to admit that 'Invictus' looks like a much better movie; well at least for my tastes.
