You won’t hear it from the allegedly mainstream media, but Sunday, April 19 is “Patriots’ Day.” They will not admit they derive the freedom to say what they want, even to undermine the principles of the U.S. Constitution, thanks to the patriots who fought, this day in 1775, at the battles of Lexington and Concord, beginning the American Revolution which created independence, and eventually the constitutional republic which protects those freedoms.
Of the two videos below, the first describes the battles; the second describes the Oath Keepers, and their intent to reaffirm the Oath to the Constitution on April 19.
HOW WILL YOU CELEBRATE PATRIOTS’ DAY?
As a holiday conveniently ignored by the American left, how will you perpetuate the legacy of freedom paid for by the blood of these and later patriots? Will you fly the flag? I will. Will you tell others less aware what they day means? I intend to greet people with, “Happy Patriots’ Day.”
Or best of all, will you celebrate freedom at Lexington Green? My colleague, Boston Gun Rights Examiner Ron Bokleman earlier gave the agenda for celebrations to be held there, beginning at 12:00 EDT on Sunday. Information is also available from the Committees of Safety. Recent additions to the speaker list include Sheriff Richard Mack, the patriot who sued the federal government over unconstitutional enforcement of the Brady Act, and won.
THE MOST APPROPRIATE CELEBRATION OF ALL
Most appropriate to the occasion, the Oath Keepers, the association of law enforcement and military personal so dedicated to the Constitution that they have published a list of ten orders they will not obey, will reaffirm the Oath to the Constitution on that day. If you can, join them in so doing.
At this time of national unrest so profound that tens of thousands conduct Tea Party rallies around the U.S.; faced with an administration bent on subverting your rights, celebrate your freedom and particularly your Constitution: Remind all you know that ours is a government unique in the world, and that you intend to keep in that way.
