One of our most anticipated events at the G20 summit was the fashionista face-off between U.S. and French first ladies Michelle Obama and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy in Strasbourg. Daily Beast editor Tina Brown called it:
the most delicious, sartorial fashion moment that we are all going to be deconstructing for next two or three weeks."
In the glamfest prelims, the two modeled their accessories husbands:

Michelle won that round 3-1.
We gave her husband, United States President Barack Obama, higher marks for world power, height — Obama is 6' 1½", Sarkozy is a diminuitive 5' 5" — and rock-star sex appeal.
We gave Carla's husband, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, credit for marrying fashion models (twice). We also tossed him an honorable mention for being impersonated in a prank phone call with the real Sarah Palin, but we didn't give him any points because it wasn't really him.
The main event was the ensemble competition.
Michelle wore: Fuschia-on-black floral coat over reverse-print sheath. Thakoon.
Carla wore: Gray suede cropped-sleeve, belted coat over gray silk-trimmed sheath. Dior.
Michelle wore kitten heels, Carla wore flats.

You decide: Who won the Michelle Obama vs Carla Bruni-Sarkozy fashionista face-off?
