British male rocker Marilyn (inset, with Gwen Rossdale) is spilling details of his 5-year affair with Gwen Stefani's hisband.
It's no secret that British rocker Marilyn *may have* had a love affair with Gavin Rossdale before he married Gwen Stefani. Boy George wrote about it 14 years ago in his book, "Take It Like A Man."
Gavin denied it, saying they were just friends with benefits. Marilyn also denied it. But now he tells InTouch that he only went along with denial because Gavin asked him to:
I agreed to lie against every grain of my being. ... We were together five years, but it felt like 40.”
Apparently he's hoping he can be honest now that Gavin and Gwen are solid in their marriage and family. He told the gossip rag:
Gavin and Gwen are perfect for each other, but he was the love of my life”
